Will schools be open or closed? The NCOC made an important decision,

 ISLAMABAD: No final decision could be taken in the meeting of the National Control and Operation Center (NCOC) regarding the opening of educational institutions across the country.

The NCOC meeting was chaired by Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar in which Health Ministry officials gave a briefing on the Corona situation. It was decided at the meeting that the decision regarding opening or closing of schools would be taken at the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference.

 The meeting of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference will be held before May 23. In the first phase, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth classes should be opened. The NCOC was informed in the briefing that board examinations would be held across the country in any case.
