ISLAMABAD: OGRA has prepared a summary of changes in the prices of petroleum products from April 1. Petrol can be cheaper by Rs 1.5 per liter from April 1. If the government increases the levy, the prices of petroleum products will go up. Can also be maintained. According to sources, crude oil prices are on a downward trend in the global market.

In this context, OGRA has sent a summary of petroleum product prices to the Petroleum Division.

The summary recommended that petrol be reduced by Rs 1.5 per liter from April 1. If the government raises the levy, the prices of petroleum products may remain the same. At present, a petroleum levy of Rs 12.74 per liter is imposed on diesel. It was informed that the final decision on the revision in the prices of petroleum products would be taken by the Ministry of Finance in consultation with the Prime Minister.
